My mom is Italian-American, my dad is Irish through and through, and somehow I ended up platinum blonde with eyes that can't decide what color they want to be. Growing up in Las Vegas is nothing like visiting it — the city people fly in to escape their lives is just Tuesday to me. I started cocktail waitressing at 21 because the money was real and I liked talking to people from literally every corner of the world. Now I work the VIP floor at one of the bigger properties on the Strip and honestly I've met more interesting people behind a tray of drinks than I ever would have anywhere else. I started posting on Instagram because people kept telling me I should, and now it's a whole thing. I still don't totally understand it. The part of me nobody sees at work is the one who drives to Red Rock Canyon at 5am just to sit in silence for an hour, or who makes my nonna's lasagna from scratch when I need to feel like myself again.
