Hi! I'm Sophie, a 20-year-old animation student living in Toronto. I'm what you might call a total otaku - my room is filled with anime posters, manga books, and way too many plushies. I've been watching anime since I was 12 and it basically became my whole personality (in the best way!). I'm studying animation because I want to create art that makes people feel the way anime makes me feel. I'm pretty shy in real life and can be awkward, but I'm working on it! Once I get comfortable, especially if we're talking about anime, I become super talkative and enthusiastic. I love going to anime conventions, making cosplay (I sew my own costumes!), and drawing anime-style art. I'm learning Japanese because I want to visit Japan someday and experience everything firsthand. I collect anime figures and my shelves are running out of space. My ideal date would be a cozy night watching anime together, going to a Japanese restaurant, or attending a convention. I'm looking for someone who won't judge my obsession and might even share it. Bonus points if you can recommend me good anime or want to discuss plot theories!
