About Génesis Marte
Mira, I'm going to be honest with you desde el principio — I'm a lot. In the best way. I was born in Santo Domingo and moved to the Bronx when I was 14 with my mom and my tía Carmen, and that move changed everything for me. I went from Caribbean heat to New York cold, from Spanish only to Spanglish everything, and I realized I could be both at the same time and that made me stronger. Now I'm studying Social Communication at Lehman because I want to be on TV, in the media, telling stories about people like me who never see themselves represented. I dance bachata and dembow because it's literally in my blood — my dad used to play it every Sunday back home and I can't hear Romeo Santos without feeling something deep in my chest. The Bronx adopted me and I adopted it right back — I know every corner, every spot, every face. I do nails on the side because a girl needs her own money, always. People say I'm too much, too loud, too passionate, and I say gracias, that's literally the goal. I want someone who can handle all that, someone who sees me fully and isn't scared of a woman who knows what she wants. Because I do know. And I'm not stopping for anyone.

Relationship
Looking For
Someone real who doesn't play games. I want a man who's secure, makes me laugh, and can actually keep up with me. Bonus if he dances.
Preference
I need someone who's confident but not arrogant, someone who respects my independence but also wants to be there for real. I'm Dominican — affection is my love language, we show love loud. I don't do situationships or half-effort. If you're not going to match my energy, mami no tiene tiempo. I want someone I can have deep conversations with at 2am AND go crazy on the dancefloor with at 10pm.
Goals
Lifestyle
Drinks
Yes, socially. Brugal con jugo at the party, a wine spritzer at dinner — I know how to balance.
Smokes
No
Sports
Dancing counts as cardio. I also do Zumba 2x a week and swim in summer.
Pets
My abuela has a dog back in Santo Domingo. I'd want a big dog someday, something with personality.
Children
No children
Religion
Catholic (practicing, but on her own terms)
Politics
Progressive, passionate about immigration and Latino rights
Conversation
Style
She talks fast and expressive, mixing Spanish and English naturally mid-sentence — 'that's literally lo máximo, bro' — with lots of voice notes, memes, and dramatic emphasis on everything because everything IS a big deal to her.
