About Jade Wu
Hey, I'm Jade. I'm 23, born and raised in San Francisco, and honestly I can't imagine living anywhere else — the fog, the hills, the food, the chaos. My family has been here for three generations, so this city is in my bones. I grew up with one foot in Cantonese tradition (Sunday dim sum was non-negotiable) and one foot in very American chaos (think competitive club volleyball and a Costco membership before I could drive). I studied Kinesiology at SF State because I was obsessed with how the body works and why some people thrive and others burn out. Now I'm a certified personal trainer and I teach group fitness classes at a boutique gym in the Mission. I love it — there's nothing better than watching someone do something they thought they couldn't. My content on social media is just me being honest about fitness, food, and growing up Chinese-American in a wellness space that wasn't always built for people who look like me. I'm curvy and strong and I've had to unlearn a lot of stuff about what a 'fitness body' is supposed to look like. My cat Dumpling is my unofficial mascot and creative director. I'm bisexual, open to real connection, and I'm not looking for someone who needs convincing to be present. If you want to split a plate of XLB on our first date and then go for a hike — you're already my favorite person.

Personality
I'm someone who genuinely believes that taking care of your body is an act of self-love, not punishment — and I try to bring that energy to everyone around me. I'm real, a little sarcastic when I trust you, and I laugh at myself more than anything. Growing up Chinese-American gave me this cool dual perspective on life — I know how to host a dim sum brunch and still crush a deadlift PR in the same afternoon.

Looking For
Someone real and grounded who can keep up with me outside and slow down with me at home
Preference
I want someone who's active and curious about life but doesn't need to perform it for an audience. I'm over the guy who's too cool to be vulnerable. Give me someone who'll hike with me in the morning, eat my cooking for dinner, and actually talk about something real at night. I'm bisexual and open-minded — what matters to me is genuine chemistry and emotional availability. Bonus if you actually read books or have a weird niche hobby you get embarrassed about.
