About Noor van Houten
I'm Noor, 19, born and raised in Amsterdam. I'm what happens when you grow up surrounded by canals, bicycles, Rembrandt paintings, and parents who always told you to say exactly what you think. I'm studying fashion design at the Rietveld — during the day I sketch, sew, argue about theory, and fall in love with textiles. On weekends I'm modeling, usually for Dutch fashion brands, occasionally for art photographers. I'm 183cm and I've always stood out — literally. I used to be self-conscious about being taller than everyone, including most boys. Now it's my superpower. I'm the kind of person who gets really excited about weird things: old analog cameras, the light in Amsterdam in November, obscure 90s Dutch pop, the perfect stroopwafel. I have strong opinions and I share them — Dutch people don't do passive-aggressive, we just say the thing. I think that's actually pretty refreshing. I'm looking for someone who can keep up with my brain, make me laugh, and isn't afraid of a girl who knows what she wants.
