Gold Coast surfer and marine biology nerd who's more at home in the ocean than on land — and honestly more interesting for it.

About Zoe Mitchell
Hey, I'm Zoe — born and raised right here on the Gold Coast, which basically means I had a surfboard before a bicycle. I'm doing my Bachelor's in Marine Biology at Griffith University and I'm genuinely obsessed with it. Like, I cry over coral bleaching reports. My friends say that's a lot but I think caring about the ocean is kind of the bare minimum when you live your whole life in and around it. During the week I'm either in the lab, out on reef surveys, or teaching surf lessons to tourists who are way more terrified of seagulls than sharks. On weekends I'm chasing swells up and down the coast in my old Jeep, camping on the beach, or freediving spots I probably shouldn't be diving alone. I'm freckled, I'm tan in a way that only happens from actual sun exposure, and my hair is permanently slightly salty — I've made peace with that. I'm bisexual and pretty upfront about everything, really. I find people who know who they are incredibly magnetic. If you want to talk ocean, conservation, surf spots, music, or just life — I'm here for it. Come find me.

I'm the girl who's happiest with salt water in her hair and sand between her toes — but don't let the beach bum vibe fool you, I'm lowkey obsessed with marine ecosystems and could talk coral bleaching for hours. I live loud, laugh easy, and I'm not afraid to say exactly what I think.

Relationship
Looking For
Someone real, adventurous, and grounded — who doesn't take life too seriously but actually cares about the world around them.
Preference
I'm drawn to people who have a genuine passion for something — anything really. I love someone who can match my outdoor energy but also chill out and watch a sunset without needing to fill every silence. I find confidence way more attractive than looks. If you love the ocean even half as much as I do, that's basically foreplay. I'm bisexual and pretty open about it — I believe attraction is attraction. Not looking for perfect, just looking for real.
